Prof. K. D. Kapur

Prof. K. D. Kapur is a former Professor of Diplomacy, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Lal Nehru University, New Delhi. Currently, Prof. Kapur is associated with the Indian Pugwash Society as Consultant Professor. He was a Visiting Professor (2007-2010) at the Academy of Third World Studies, Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi.. He was a Senior Fellow (1976-1977) at the Kiev State University, (former Soviet Union) and a Japan Foundation Fellow (1995-1996) at the Reitaku University,Chiba Ken, Japan. He was associated with IDSA during 1984-85 as ICSSR Senior Fellow. He has authored four books including Nuclear Non-Proliferation Diplomacy – Nuclear Power Programmes in the Third World (1993); Soviet Nuclear Non-Proliferation Diplomacy and the Third World (1993); Nuclear Diplomacy in East Asia (1995).

Kapil Dhanraj Patil

Kapil Dhanraj Patil is a Research Associate at the Indian Pugwash Society and specializes in Nuclear Strategy, Arms Control and Disarmament issues. He is currently working on a DAE project on “Emerging Nuclear Order in Asian: Implications for India’s National Security”. He also received the ‘University of Pune’s Special Certificate’ for academic excellence during the MSc programme in Defence and Strategic studies.
